The interview mainly focused on my experience in sales, organizational skills and how I would reach out to prospects and the whole sales process. The five-year goal question is a classic and the tell me about yourself one. Pretty standard interview but I would research the company process before the interview.
I had one of the worst interview experiences with MaintainX. I applied for a Business Development Representative role, went through multiple rounds of interviews, and invested a lot of time preparing. After all of that, the company tried to push me toward a completely different position/territory that I never applied for or agreed to.
This bait-and-switch approach showed a serious lack of respect for candidates’ time and career goals. Communication was inconsistent, the process was drawn out, and there was no transparency around what they were actually hiring for.
If a company can’t manage a clear and honest hiring process, it raises red flags about how they treat employees internally. I would caution other candidates to think twice before engaging with MaintainX.

5 Rounds. Recruiter Screen, BDR Manager, Case Interview, Duel JPS, SVP Sales. Long process but with great communication and assistance through it. Was very quick and efficient. Great Team, was very excited about the opportunity throughout the process
