Interviewed with a panel of 7, composed of lab techs, chemists, supervisors, and hr personnel. They divided themselves into groups of 2 or 3 and each group had a unique set of questions to ask. Questions varied from previous work experiences to basic analytical chemistry questions to questions about interactions with others.

There was an interview candidate in at the same time as myself, we stuck up a conversation.... the other candidate had ZERO lab experience, but got the spot because this persons father worked for them. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this refinery have a serious accident; or burn to the ground, due to nepotistic hiring of unqualified people.
