A Medpace recruiter reached out via email. I followed up with an application and return email to the recruiter. Scheduled an interview a few weeks later with another recruiter via real time video conference. I researched salaries using Glassdoor to learn that Medpace was paying on average, 17% lower than average salaries for entry level Clinical Research Associates. I have an advanced degree and for the amount of travel required, that was a turn-off.
I also have coordination experience with protocol and consent development which is a leg up from most individuals with just coordination experience and an undergrad degree. In the end, the travel requirements and pay were a concern. It was explained that you would travel easily 4/5 days per week. They knew I had a family and I felt discriminated against for what is a very entry level (no years experience as a CRA) position.
There are four weeks of training in Cincinnati. We would then help set you up your office and depending on protocol availability, you would be matched with 10+ locations with 2-3 protocols. Tell me about the experience you have had with respect to the types of indications you have worked with at your previous positions?
Short, 3 interviews total. Phone, big interview, then a final call. They were very prompt with scheduling and letting me know where I stand in the process. Good interview process.

A 30 minute virtual interview. Was pretty standard. They asked what my background was, why I wanted to work for them, and my career goals. It was more of a one-one chat to see if I was a good fit. I thought it went quite well but I didn't hear back from them.

HR was on leave so the department head interviewed me directly, it was over an hour a bit exhausting though. During the interview she asked whether I have some clinical trial hands on experiences which was negative as I’m the fresh Graduate
