I applied through my university career center. I was later contacted & asked to visit the office to take the FIAT test as well as meet several FAs currently working at the office. Immediately upon my arrival I took the FIAT test which lasted about 30 minutes. I was not informed whether or not I had successfully completed the test but assumed as much once the interviews began. The first interview was with the current director/advisor of the Financial Advisor training program (PMD) who was also an FA. He was cordial throughout the interview & spent most of the time talking about his experiences in the position. This felt more like a conversation & less like an interview. Next I spoke to a Vice President & another FA. Aside from the typical jitters that accompany an interview, nothing was particularly unsettling about the process. I was then asked to come back a few days later & meet with the Branch Manager who was not there that day. When I returned to meet with him, we spoke for a few minutes and he told me that I was likely to receive an offer. He asked me about myself, accomplishments I was proud of, where I saw myself in 5 years, etc.
