I worked with a recruiter who called me. I don't normally work with recruiters but he had done his homework and there was a clear match between my resume and the job description. Moog expressed interest and it bounced around at Moog for a few weeks before we got a interview setup. The recruiter kept me informed somewhat of the status at Moog. Then due to the COVID situation we used Skype for the interviews.

The manager asked many questions about my background, experience, and nature of my work in my previous position. He did a good job of trying to understand where I might fit at Moog.

The interviewing was all remote by video since I was out of state. First contacted by external recruiters and then internal recruiter. One long day interviewing in videos with a panel of people, and followed up by a couple short interviews on later days.

I was asked a slew of fundamental engineering questions that any engineer could and should be able to answer, but there were many and they wanted short quick answers. Then I was given systems and project problems that I was given time to solve and present within minutes of being presented with the problem. Then there were lengthy character questions and general questions to discover what type of person you would be to work with. Made me feel good about the company.
