The first round telephone interview was a generic conversation about experience, motivation etc. The second stage which was promised to be the final stage on-site tour and competency interview was not actually what was delivered. It was instead a technical problem for 2 hour with the hiring manager sat in the room. This was not the final stage or as described because the hiring managers added another stage for the best candidate from this stage to go head-to-head with an applicant who didn't get the senior position. All candidates in the room had been misled and lied to by both HR and the hiring manager. It was a waste of everyone's time. It was a really negative experience and a complete disrespect to all applicants.
