They solicited resumes in my area and then set up a phone interview…only to be told they don’t actually have positions in my area yet. They’re just gathering resumes to appear as if they have a supply of consultants at their clients disposal. Kind of a gross tactic if you ask me.

Company was desperate to hire, partner has no accounting knowledge and it was obvious. No emphasis on accounting centric experience, application, knowledge or value add. It became apparent that the interview was book keeper based, not at all in line with job description or personal work experience.
