Very unprofessional. I took the time out to do a phone screening than on site interview and didn't even recieve a response. I could have been notified of the position being filled. I do not want to work for a department who is so unprofessional anyway.

You normally have a phone screen with someone from Peoplelink (HR) and then once you pass that, then an in-person interview with 1-2 supervisors of the job. The phone interviews can be a bit discouraging because the person usually has limited information about the role. I've interviewed for a few roles at NYU and this is the standard procedure.

it took them about two weeks to get back 2 me about my application. they called ... set up an interview. Interview was short and easy. Hopefully i get the job.
