A brief phone call, followed by a behavioral/fit interview with 5 members of staff.
One of the sales managers made fun of me for not wearing a suit to the interview. Mind you, this is a tech startup -- as in, people wear jeans and t-shirts -- and I was not dressed casually. In fact, I wore a blazer with khakis and dress shoes.
I thought that was a little bit weird but, whatever.
They told me they would get back to me by that Thursday and to follow up if not.
They ghosted me for two weeks. I followed up twice.
When they finally did get back to me to tell me they were going with someone else, the guy made fun of me for following up with him (some snide remark about my "persistence).
He did this even though he was the one who ghosted me, after giving himself a deadline and specifically asking me to follow up...
Really lame and unprofessional.
