Cleared 1 Coding round (online assessment) -> 2 technical (video conf) -> 1 technical+ Managerial (video conf) -> HR ghosts
First of all, HR mailed at midnight about and urgent requirement for Sr. application developer and asks few details to share immediately (like exp, notice period, CTC expectation etc.) and I shared all. There was no counter question on shared details and CTC expectation if it is out of their budget.
Next day, she schedules online coding assessment test and follows up like anything to complete the test as soon as possible as it is an urgent requirement. So, I gave the test and cleared as well.
She always stays in touch on WhatsApp for to tell you the status of your previous round and to schedule next interview round. It is very easy to reachout to her throughout the process.
She schedules 1st Technical interview (1 hour) after getting my availability. I attended the interview. It went very well with core technical and small programs during interview.
She informs that I have cleared this round.
She schedules 2nd Technical interview of 1 hour. I attended the interview. It went very well with core technical and small programs during interview.
She informs that I have cleared 2nd round as well.
She schedules 3rd Technical+Managerial interview of 1 hour which was just for interaction with Project manager to understand your technical knowledge and your approach. I had good experience in all these rounds.
But, this time she did not responds. After multiple follow ups, she says it is on hold I will confirm you by this week. After a week also she did not respond. So I again followed up after a week.
Then, she sends 1 liner response that you are not selected without any reason or feedback.
And I was surprised, that what went wrong when everything went well, I co-operated with them 24x7 whenever they needed any detail or wanted to schedule interviews. Atleast they should have some ethics to respect someones time and dedication by replying properly with a valid reason.
I followed up multiple time on mails and her number to get feedback but now she disappeared with no reply on anything. Really a PATHETIC experience.
I doubt if there was some issue with my expected CTC which I had shared before starting the interview process, atleast they should have talk once if they need negotiation. Instead, they keep scheduling interviews and wastes 1 week of your time. Then they ghosts you when time comes to make an offer. This is very UNPROFESSIONAL behaviour. They play with your time, emotion, dedication and efforts.
I suggest to candidates, if you have any CTC expectation, then talk upfront to the HR before initiating the interview process. Just don't send it over mail and sit bcoz at that time they will not question to you and will waste your one week of time by schedule multiple interviews. So, better to discuss over call.
