This is one of my worst interview experience.I was called for F2F interview for QA profile.HR mentioned that 2 technical and 1 HR round would be there.But when i appeared for the interview.Nobody was available in the office as some company function was going on.After waiting for long,two ladies came and started my interview(that was in a very unofficial manner).They asked few ques which went around only for 15-20 min.It was like they are just passing the time.They are actually not interested to take the interview. Then one of the lady started asking if m ready to work for development in java.I asked her that for which profile am i being interviewed.Because in the JD which was shared by HR,it was clearly mentioned that this profile is for QA.Then the lady told me that yes they have called me for QA but they need a java devoloper.I said that either i will work for dev/testing both or i ll work for testing but not core developement.Then they told me that they are done with me.They will let me know about the feedback. I asked the ladies,that 2 technical interviews were supposed to happen and one HR.but then she said that their manager is not available in the office.So other round might happend some other day.But then they never called me. I could not understand that if they dont want to hire people,why do they call them for interviews.They just wasted my time for nothing.HR was like we are in the prcoess of ending interviews,so you need to come this particular day only.If she knew that nobody will be available for the interview,then why did she call me for interview.Infact i called her,texted her and mailed her to ask the same.but no response.
