Worst interview experience. I would not recommend working for this company as they do not have respect for those they interview and their time. I was asked to come in for an interview at the Charlotte NC location and was happy to do so even though the location is roughly a 45 min drive. The first interview was fine as they asked generic questions. After the interview I was told one of the physicians would like to interview me at a later date. We scheduled the appointment and they advised that it could be a virtual appointment which was convenient. I get into the virtual call and wait around for roughly 15 min for the physician who is supposed to interview me. They never joined the call and I receive an email from the HR coordinating the interviews stating that they won't be able to join. We rescheduled and they apologize, however they want to do the interview in person this next time...I agree and make the 45 min drive to the location. The interview is fine however it felt like less of an interview and more asking about my personal life. A little strange but nothing intrusive. There was no mention of potential salary and i didn't want to be too forward but felt that the questions and information given hardly pertained to the role. After the interview they advise I would be called about the decision in a few days. A few days goes by and I get contacted asking if I could do another interview with another physician. I asked If they could do virtual seeing as the position was hybrid and that i was told that the previous interview was the last one but they advised they would prefer in person again. At this point I'm a little hesitant seeing as didn't not feel the initial interview was a good use of my time. Before I agreed to another interview I asked about potential salary as they made no attempt to mention it and were requesting additional interviews outside of what was previously told. When asking about the salary they advised they could come no where close to what I wanted. They apologized that it was not previously mentioned and that they had wasted my time as they are going through administrative changes and the interview process was conducted by "fill-ins" seeing as they were short on HR staff. I declined to proceed further seeing as they did not have their ducks in a row and were happy to request 4 interviews not guaranteeing their staff would be present for the interviews and adding additional hoops to jump through for below average pay. I will not be applying for this company again. Very dissatisfied from what claims to be a great ortho center.
