      Colloquio per User Acquisition Manager

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto una settimana. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Oura (San Francisco, CA) nel mese di nov 2021

      Colloquio

Maybe one of the weirdest recruiter screens I have ever had. The recruiter had obviously not looked at my cover letter or really looked at my resume much. She was bouncing all over the screen and could not keep her train of thought. She was unable to answer even the most basic questions about even the structure of the team because you apparently need an NDA... okay... weird. The weirdest thing was she offered unsolicited advice about career/job searching stuff to me. She basically called me a job hopper and said I needed to do a better job asking questions when interviewing. It was rude and unnecessary and, again, completely unsolicited. Why ask me to interview if my experience doesn't match what your company is looking for? Not to mention "job hopping" isn't a negative thing if you're getting 30%+ salary increases each time you jump. I thought it was pretty rude but also hilariously unprofessional. Save it for the LinkedIn feed lol. Base salary was only $130k... I told the recruiter that that was actually well below market rate and she had the audacity to mansplain equity to me (keep in mind she knows I work at a startup). She really didn't want to tell me their range either and I had to remind her that in CA it's required by law to disclose the range if a candidate asks. I wasn't advanced to the next level but no biggie - would not work here. I have never seen so many red flags for a company in 30 mins. Beware - their huge growth spurt is from random one-offs from celebrities vs building a true growth infrastructure and producing a quality product.

      Domanda 1

Have you worked cross-functionally with other teams before? What are your salary expectations?
