In November 2024, I applied for a Business Development Manager role at Ovoko for the Romanian market on LinkedIn. I progressed through the interview process, including a video interview with a recruiter and a second interview with a Sales Manager and a Sales Team Lead. While the second interview felt more like a friendly conversation and I believe it went well, I was ultimately rejected.
Despite their claims of moving forward with other candidates, the position is still available on LinkedIn three months later.
While Ovoko is an interesting company with a lot of potential, my overall experience with their hiring process was disappointing and felt like a waste of time.
