I applied on SEEK and got a phone call within a few days from a blocked number. I also received an email explaining the call and asking if we could set up a time later in the week. I emailed back and didnt get a reply for a day or so, so I emailed again. The next Monday I got a response with a time and day. We did the phone chat, once again off a blocked number and that went well. I got an email a few days later asking for an in person interview the following Monday. I accepted. Monday comes and before 6am the employee emails saying they are sick and cant do the interview and need to postpone it. I email back saying that's okay and to feel better soon and let her know my availability. I dont get a reply for a day so I email again. Once again no reply, I wait a few days and email again. Monday comes around and no reply, I wait a whole week until the next Monday, two weeks after the first interview date and email one more time, but I also emailed the main company email this time. The next day I finally get an email from the employee saying unfortunately the position has been filled. No apologies or explanations for the massive time taken to reply. Thanks for stringing me along for almost a month.
