Your background in sales has provided you with valuable transferable skills, particularly in people engagement, and your friendly, driven, and focused demeanor would make you a great fit for any team. However, after careful consideration, we’ve decided to move forward with other candidates for this role. While you have many qualities that we value, we had the impression during our conversation that you might be more interested in pursuing other roles within the company down the line. Given your background and the direction of our discussion, it seemed like you might see this role as a stepping stone rather than a long-term position. We truly appreciate your enthusiasm for joining TravelPerk, and we believe you have a lot to offer. If your career aspirations align more closely with other opportunities in the future, we’d be happy to consider you again" However I never showed any interest in other jobs down the line, on the contrary but very enthusiastic about the Receptionist position and eager to contribute in this capacity.
