Colloquio
Got contacted by the recruiter one day after I sent in my resume. The interview was scheduled the following week. The interview went smoothly. There was one primary interviewer and another shadowing. Interviewers are professional and welcoming.
Aside from that, everything else was horrible.
The recruiting coordinator *never* replied to any of my emails asking about the interview process. Completely radio silence. I looked up her LinkedIn and found out that she had liked some recruiters’ posts saying something along the line of candidates should send a thank you note to the recruiting coordinator and a lot of other bulls**t posts about how candidates should *behave*. Probably the worst recruiter I had to deal with so far. Please be good at your job before asking others to be grateful of you not even doing the bare minimum.
During the interview, I was told I would get the result in 2-3 days; it turned out I had to wait 1 month for an automated rejection email. When you like a candidate enough to invite them on a virtual onsite interview, please be a little bit more specific and personal with your rejection to show that you respect them and you’re mindful of their time being spent on a fruitless process.
Although I really like the interviewers who were super nice and personable, the recruiter and the hiring process turned me off so much that I’d probably never apply to this place again.

Domanda 1
A LC easy but with a lot of corner cases. Mainly behavioral question

I applied online for the Software Engineering Intern position. After 2-3 weeks, I received link for HackerRank Online Assessment. The online assessment consisted of:
1. Technical MCQs - 7 (85 points).
Some of them were also having -1 negative marking.
2. Coding Questions - 3 (100 + 100 + 20)
One question was based on segment tree, which I did successfully scoring 100/100. Second question was hard and it was from topic "Digit DP" (100). Third question was really easy and could be solved using a hash map. (20)
I was confident enough that I'll get call from Postman recruiter but got a rejection email instead on next day. I solved all the questions except the "Digit DP" question.
I would suggest the company to start asking such difficult questions. Even the segment trees question was not medium level. The company heavily focuses on open source development. There should be an option for candidates to opt either for OA or "Take-Home Assignment".
