It was quick and unorganized. HR said that they needed someone with consulting experience. Have you even opened my resume? It looked like they had somebody in mind and just needed to fill out the form that they considered a pool of candidates (she typed).

It was a pretty straight forward interview process with their recruiter, hiring manager and the department VP.
It was a pretty long and involved background check process. If you're an older applicant make sure you have all of your proof of employment for every job on your resume. They'll go back as far as any information you have on your resume and may even request more.
