Attended a walk-in hiring event. Interview consisted of a panel interview with two directors and other candidates. Very calm, non stressful interview. Make sure to bring extra copies of your resumes. Was told that offers would be made later that week. Called the recruiter the following week to follow up and he had mentioned that there was some delays. I didn’t hear anything for the remainder of the that week so I assume I didn’t get the job.

I interviewed at the beginning of the week and received an offer within the following week. I had received a call from the director of Med Surg/Tele and she was awesome. I personally enjoyed her interview although it was intimidating she did make me feel welcome and comfortable. She was straight forward in what she was looking for and her goals for the unit. I truly felt she wants the best for her staff and that is a safe Nurse that is going to fit well with the team, learn, and ask questions! I have been working for a little over a couple weeks and so far I have seen her involved in patient care, checking in on the units making sure we have been covered and are okay. She has her doors open to the new hires and she is always present. I find that personally unique and amazing to see a director involved in patient care and supporting their Nurses. The teamwork is AMAZING.
