Colloquio per Entry Level Account Management

      13 feb 2013
      Candidato anonimo a colloquio
      San Diego, CA
      Offerta rifiutata
      Esperienza negativa

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un'altra fonte. La procedura ha richiesto una settimana. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Rise Executives (San Diego, CA) nel mese di dic 2012

      Colloquio

The interview process was very interesting, to say the least.. First, you receive an email from an HR representative asking you to please call because your resume has been highlighted and they would like to set up an interview time. When you go in, there are a number of interviewees (as expected) and everyone eventually gets their turn. The interview itself was very standard with common questions about personality, goals, qualifications, etc. I was then thanked for my time and told that if I was selected for a second interview I would receive a call later that day. I received my call and was asked to come in for a much more involved interview. They wanted me in the next day but I had a scheduling conflict and made it for early the next week. To this point, the job description was still pretty vague and I was told I would learn a lot more about the company at a second interview. I was a little concerned I may be wasting my time interviewing here so I did some of my own research and after going back for interview #2 I determined everything I read was correct. During the second "interview", the first step was to view a morning sales meeting, which honestly seemed more like a pep rally, then we were shuffled to the next room, asked why we returned for the second interview and then told we would be shadowing a current employee while he made his sales rounds. It turns out that Rise Executives is a subsidiary of Cydcor and the job was essentially door to door sales with very low benefits and commissions. I asked to be returned back to the office early on, went to talk with the "boss" about the experience, as requested, and left. I still got a call back offering me a position though. If any one in San Diego is planning to interview there, please use caution and make sure you know what is being asked of you.
