      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un'agenzia di reclutamento personale. La procedura ha richiesto 3 giorni. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Robert Half (Shelton, CT) nel mese di giu 2012

      Colloquio

I contacted the contract company after I spotted a position I knew I was qualified for. The first agent took my information for the online posting. I received a call from the Division Manager who spoke to me in depth about the position and the company in depth on the phone. He then contacted the client company forwardiing my credentials and arranged an interview within 2 days. The Div. mgr. accompanied me to the interview, introducing me to the managers. After the interview, he contacted me to get my feedback and would get theirs immediately. Before I left the building at RHI office that day, I had an offer of employment.

A phone call, very quickly after I submitted my application online. It was very professional yet it felt like just a normal conversation between co workers. There was just the one phone call, and some emails back and forth discussing my resume. But all and all it was an ultimately brief and Frank interview process.

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un'altra fonte. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Robert Half (Milwaukee, WI) nel mese di ago 2020

      Colloquio

I applied online for a job. After two weeks I had not heard from anyone, not even an email acknowledging receipt of my application. I called, and was immediately transferred to the lead person for IT jobs. This man talked as if he really liked my resume, and said he already had two jobs in mind for me. One matched a job I could see on the RH website. He suggested an hourly wage 40% lower than the rate listed on the website, but because he had pointed out a gap in my resume, I figured I was not in a position to argue, and I was happy to have work of any sort, so I accepted. He asked for me to send additional materials to complete the application. I spent most of the following day tailoring these added documents and sent them to him. He never acknowledged receiving them. The same day, I received two strange emails from an unknown address. They seemed to coincide with my job application but didn't come from an RH address. I wrote my contact to ask if these were from him and he explained (for the first time) that they were a legitimate part of standard paperwork to be employed by RH. Reading and completing this contract paperwork took several more hours, but I finished it promptly. A month later, I had not heard a single word from my contact. My only communication from RH was automatic emails claiming I had more paperwork to fill out. Finally I called my contact to try and learn what had happened with the original jobs. His phone rang and never went to voicemail. Less than an hour later, I was indisposed and heard my phone ringing. When I reached my phone less than 5 minutes later, I saw that he had called, but he did not leave a message. I returned this call immediately, but he did not answer. This time I did get voicemail, and I left my name and phone number, saying I wished to follow up and talk about other potential jobs. I never received an answer to this call. I also realized that RH had never contacted any of my references, and when I called the background check company to obtain a copy of their report to RH, I learned that RH had not even ordered the background check. In summary, I spent most of two days of labor applying with Robert Half, was led to believe I was a very strong candidate for more than one job, received poor and erratic communication, and my own, final attempt to reach out was ignored.

      Domanda 1

The interview was brief and very basic - I get the feeling that the man I spoke to was multitasking and/or in a rush to do other things. What most stands out is that he asked me to explain the current gap in my resume.
