Poor communication. I understand the rigor behind the interview process: a cognitive assessment, an HR screen, multiple interviews, and a financial modeling assessment. Companies are entitled to do what’s necessary to find the right fit, but be transparent. I was told I’d be speaking to 3-4 different people, to end up ghosted. I only received a rejection after having to follow up on the status of my interview process. “No longer hiring”.

Similar to many other reviewers, I applied one morning and later that evening received a request to take a cognitive test as a first stage in the interview process. I took the exam and expect to have done well, although it may be impossible to know because the results of this test are not shared. I have asked for the results with no reply from the company. A few days later I received an email that stated ... "Thanks for your interest in Rokt. At this time, we have decided to move forward with other candidates who have skills and experience that are more aligned with the needs of this specific role." It seems odd that my experience/skills would only be factored after spending additional time on an exam. I would have expected to only progress on to a cognitive test after an initial screening of resume/skills. Looking at other reviews and how common this pattern is, it would seem ROKT are collecting this information unnecessarily. I would recommend not to apply to this company. People should certainly not put up with these shenanigans.
