Overall positive experience, but ultimately ghosted even after in-person meetings and several follow ups.
After applying, I was pleased with a quick turnaround on the first phone screen with the recruiter, and a follow up phone screen with the hiring manager the week after. About a week after that, I was contacted to come in for an in-person interview as well as to complete a case-study. The case study was challenging but a good exercise and a good indication of the kind of skills they were looking for. During in-person interview, I met with 4 people - all were very nice, engaging in the meetings, and overall I had a really positive experience on-site. The hiring manager indicated to me the general timeline they were looking at and said they would be in touch after case studies were reviewed and finalists were identified.
Unfortunately, I never heard from them again. I found out that the recruiter left the company, and the hiring manager never got back to me to even close the loop on the position. Even though I assumed after several follow ups with no response that I was not selected to move forward, I would have appreciated notification or indication of some kind that they had moved forward with other candidates, especially after having gone in to meet other team members and submitting a case study for review.
I think the company is still cool and has promise but unfortunately this was just a negative experience with lack of closure on the position.

The Case Study was challenging, but feasible with public information available on the company. Ultimately it feels like I completed free work for them, which I wouldn't have minded if they just got back to me with feedback and a formal rejection.

First stage interview was good, ran through leadership and management style, inclusion of deliverables and managing stakeholders and team outcomes through OKRs and Metric Ownership, received good feedback
Second stage was on technical breadth and understanding, so I focused my answers on the clearly communicated interview format, person I spoke with didn't ask anything thought provoking or overly technical but it went well
Received contradictory feedback that I didn't expand upon OKRs which I did in the first stage and received good feedback for earlier in the process, and I didn't expand enough in technical depth in the breadth interview which wasn't the goal of the second interview as we would have clearly ran out of time.
The interviewer and the communicated interview format were clearly misaligned and led to an unfavourable outcome, attention to detail in coordination and planning in the hiring process was lacking.

Simple and straightforward process. End to end the whole loop took about a month and a half. 1) Recruiter Screen 2) Hiring Manager Discussion 3) Interview loop with 3 leaders (2 leaders on the team I was interviewing for, 1 leader from another team). I really enjoyed every conversation and person I interacted with, except for the final discussion with the leader from a different team. An hour before that discussion, the recruiter emailed me and asked if we could reschedule. I was annoyed but said sure, and we confirmed a new time. Not 5 minutes later the recruiter reached back out saying "NVM let's stick with the original time." Turns out, the leader I was to interview with had come back from vacation overseas the night before and had only gotten 5 hours of sleep. Right of the get go she was ornery and rude. She also said she only had 30 minutes even though we had 45 minutes scheduled. She sarcastically started by asking about my "vErY iMpReSsIvE rEsUmE...". I was truly caught off-guard, but shook it off and walked her through my story. From that point on, she just didn't really listen to any of my answers to her questions. She was distracted and mixing topics from my earlier answers into present ones, and then pushing back saying how it didn't make sense. I really had no idea how to react. I tried correcting her and saying that answer was from an earlier topic, but she continued to be rude and dismiss my responses. Also, I come from an M&A consulting background, and she found a way to brag about how she used to manage M&A at Roku (although she was now a leader in content PROGRAM MANAGEMENT). I found this very hard to believe but went with the flow and tried to relate with her. She had no banking, PE, consulting or Corp Dev experience at all. That all being said, she still found a way to question my experience and seemed to think she knew better how post deal integrations worked. I didn't argue but was just bewildered at how unprofessional and petty this woman was. A perfect example of "confidently incorrect". She was terrible and I am relieved I never have to see her again. I loved the hiring manager and the rest of the team though!
