Simple interview on my resume. Was asked to go through some of my projects and do a simple live demo. Interviewer was helpful to guide me on some difficult questions.

Describe how you completed a group project in school
the interview was straightforward and not too technical, more about personality and interviewer was friendly and asked questions about modules learnt in school and personal lifestyle. the interviewer also asked about the school's degree program and explained about the job scope and the context of the job.
The easier path depends on whether you have a relationship with any existing person in the department, because it works through relationship referrals (hiring). Different clusters of people knew one another.
