Contacted by a Samsung recruiter for a position that fit like a glove to my previous position at a top competitor. Had 2 phone interviews (1 with the HR recruiter/rep and 1 with the hiring manager). Was brought in to NJ for 5 scheduled back-to-back interviews. 2 of the 5 interviewers did not show up. The other 3 interviews went very well (IMOO) and I flew back the same day of the interview. After 3 weeks, I decided to contact them via email (since the expected response time was 2 weeks) and they told me that the position/opening had been closed because of budget. I understand the reason of the opening being closed, but not having the decency to contact me (just to let me know) was very rude.
