I recently had an interview with them and while the process itself was smooth and professional, there was a specific interaction with them that left me feeling frustrated and demotivated. During the conversation, the they mentioned that "this position is the lowest level for other engineers." While I understand that companies have different tiers for roles, the way this statement was conveyed was discouraging and made me question how valued the position really is within the company. Their role is not only to assess candidates but also to promote the position and company in a way that excites potential hires. Hearing this, especially early on in the process, can leave candidates feeling undervalued. I believe that to maintain a strong company reputation and attract top talent, it’s important to present every role in a positive light, focusing on the opportunities for growth, learning, and contribution. This would help motivate candidates and make them feel like an integral part of the company from the beginning.
