The interviewer and I talked remotely. He asked me a few simple questions followed by a more challenging one.
During this time he kept having to excuse himself to handle his newborn that was crying into the microphone very loudly making it extremely difficult to concentrate.
The question was simple, but I struggled because people watching you code is difficult. It wasn't that challenging of a question and I was able to solve it about 2 minutes after the call ended.
It was very rude of the interviewer to not mute his microphone. This sort of behavior reflects poorly on the company.
