I wen through the International recruitment process for foreigners at career exhibition in Tokyo. There were three interviews, final at the HQ. No english interviews were done. All in Japanese.

Chaotic is a compliment. But pardon the frenzy, they're from the Bay Area and anything goes. I received a voicemail and no other warning for an interview. Almost missed it. It was just a series of casual conversations, difficult to schedule, but it finally came together.

They asked a lot about mentoring the new hires and what my approach would be for their succession plan. They told me about the structure they had and how it is very flat. This was true.
