On 29th July'15 I got mail from HR for interview. I appeared for the interview on 1stAug(technical Written). Questions were mainly from Struts, Core Java. Written was clear and F2F round was scheduled on thursday(6th Aug). The guy taking the interview, I can bet, he was not a technical guy at all. He asked me a programming question and was expecting me to give the answers what he checked in google(Even his solution was not correct at all). He was not ready to listen me at all. He just wanted to listen definitions of collection, Reflection not their implementation. This was not expected from Sopra. I already have 2 offers in my hand, but I had very positive image about Sopra, thats why I went to attend the interview(from Gurgaon to Noida). Please this is humble request, before taking any interview, please make sure the guy has worked on the technology.

Array having list of interger, from 1 to 100. One number is missing. You have to find missing number and its index.
My Answer: We will calculate sum of integers present in array lets say Sum, and we will calculate sum of number from 1 to 100 using x = n(n+1)/2. then x-Sum will give you the missing number. He said I am just telling him the formula n blah blah. Finally i asked his answer
His Answer: Funny one. We will have a for loop,
for(i=1; i<100; i++){
if(a[i] == null)
//print i and a[i];
}
lolz... please anybody tell me how this logic can output your missing number. And if u know null is the number, then why are you looping and making it o(n) complexity.
I think he googled the interview question, but not the answers or approach :P

Interview was okayish, I was able to crack all rounds and was asked to upload documents. It was the final HR round and there I thought to test the HR with some not so comfortable situation and the behaviour of HR was what pulled me off, if they behave so arrogantly and unprofessionally before joining imagine what they gonna do once you join them. A major red flag for me, HR who don't know management and planning are not taking their jobs seriously, so yeah not worth for your time and energym

Quick and efficient. Talk with HR. Personality check. On site interview with manager and potential colleague. Had a coding task, which was nicely setup. I had to solve real-world task, which I really enjoyed. Not sure if time was limited, but didn't take too much time.
