I want to start by saying Hillary did such a fantastic job of keeping me updated with the entire interview process. She reached out to me on Linkedin, and I had about 4 or 5 interviews. The interviews were also pretty informal.

The person I dealt with was very communicative up until ghosting me. This was after going through 3 interviews, a writing task and asking for references. Having someone go through so many interviews and a task that took substantial time is beyond rude and unprofessional, along with representing your company terribly. It is very ironic that throughout the entire process they emphasized being so people focused and investing in their company culture, but then ghost potential candidates. I got to the last round and the person that was supposed to interview me was not able to make it. The person who filled in for them clearly was not as prepared and did not want to be interviewing that day. They asked me questions (especially one in particular) that were rather absurd for an entry level position, which definitely threw me off. At the end of the interview, the original person went out of their way to ask my availability for the rest of the day and said I would be hearing from them by end of day. I followed up a couple times after this but never heard from them again, never got an official rejection email or anything. They completed wasted my time - please have the decency to tell candidates if they are not a right fit, especially if they have invested time into several rounds and tasks. Absolutely astonishing that this has become the norm for companies to treat candidates this way.
