Was told to apply by a friend who works there and recommended me to his managers to fill an open spot. Filled out an application online (no paper applications) and it was about 2-3 weeks before I got the call for the interview. They were already interested in me from the start because my friend gave them some background info and my experiences. The interview was straight-forward but thorough, talked with a sales manager first who asked me the basic questions regarding my application and interest in the company/store, then the general manager came in and asked the basic "plans for the future" questions, and also since I was going to college if I was going to be able to work because they would happily accommodate my schedule. Then the sales manager came in and started asking the job-related questions: if I was comfortable making sales on top of computer repairs, how I was with customers, what I find to be most important working in retail. They also asked about experiences at my previous job, what I know, and all that. It was a pretty basic interview but they were extremely friendly and seemed absolutely genuine in their interest for me. My interview was before a holiday weekend but I was called with an offer only 4 days after my interview.

Quick and simple and very informative overall great experience and would definitely reccomend went in for 1 thing ended up with another. Just goes to show staples has a pretty good interview process overall

The first interview was on the phone, it was pleasant. The second in person interview was simple with the General manager who asked me a basic question on how i would sell an item to a customer, essentially we did a role play.
