One of the best hiring processes I have had. Qadira (recruiter) was super communicative and updated every step of the way. There was no ghosting, super clear about next steps. Although some people might take this as a negative to have 4 interviews back to back, I think it was great to take the day off and be able to focus fully on the interviews. Thoughtful of the company to do it this way, instead of different days prolonging the process even more.

Only had my initial call with the HR person. They do schedule 4 calls in total.
It’s a wonder why I’ve never heard of this company. You’ll never acquire and keep talent with the lack of professionalism and courtesy. HR person ghosted me after telling them my salary requirements.
Stick to Spotify, this company will not last long.

Applied online and got a response pretty fast. Had a chat with the Android guy on the phone even though an onsite was already planned, which I thought was odd (what was he going to reject me beforehand?) I went to onsite and was only asked scenario questions with nothing technical for only 30 minutes and then it was over. I showed them the numerous ways their app design was flawed but I guess they didn't care. I think the Android guy seems to think the design is not a problem so in that case, we disagree. I was told that I would receive a coding project if they wanted to move forward but I never did and instead got a call from an HR about a week later saying I was rejected.
Companies like these don't understand that if you want your app to be award-winning, you must deeply care about design.

Unfortunately it was clear early in the interview process that it was not going to be a good fit so we opted to cut the interview short in order to respect your time and ours. We appreciate you taking the time to come in. We are definitely aware our apps have significant room for improvement and a large part of our 2017 roadmap is to redesign them, hence the necessity for hiring into this role.
