Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Stuart Alexander (Sydney)
Colloquio
Steward Alexander’s hiring process is a complete sham and a blatant misuse of job seekers’ time. They post job listings on LinkedIn that appear legitimate, but it’s clear these are not real opportunities. After applying, I was invited for two interviews. In the first, they were overly enthusiastic, saying I “ticked all the boxes” and seemed like a perfect fit. But in the second interview, they abruptly claimed they were “going with other candidates,” only for the same job to be reposted shortly after. This cycle seems to repeat endlessly, with hundreds of applicants drawn in each time.
It’s suspicious that a company can’t fill a $100K role after months of reposting and interviewing. How does someone who “ticks all the boxes” suddenly become unsuitable? It feels like a deliberate tactic to gather competitive insights from candidates who are open and candid during interviews, only to be discarded. This practice is unethical, disrespectful, and exploitative, taking advantage of job seekers’ time and trust. If you see a reposted job from Steward Alexander, save yourself the hassle and avoid applying. It’s 100% fishy and not worth your energy.
Pros:
None.
Cons:
Fake job postings designed to waste time.
Interviews seem like a ploy to extract competitive insights.
Disrespectful and unethical treatment of job seekers.
Repetitive cycle of reposting jobs with no intention to hire.
Advice to Management:
Stop exploiting job seekers for competitive intelligence. Be transparent about your hiring intentions and respect candidates’ time. If you’re not serious about filling a role, don’t post it.

No direction in where to go when you arrive for interview. Three on one person interview/panel - STAR method. Felt rushed at times, not enough time for applicants questions at the end.

Initial phone call then a couple of face to face interviews.
Very disorganized process. HR lady was terrific, energized and encouraged me before the interview. The senior brand manager, however, didn't even smile during the interview. She showed no emotion or interest in being nice. Her questions were challenging, but more so because she made me feel like I was being inspected rather than having a conversation with me.

They asked in detail about my work history and accomplishments. E.g. tell me about this thing you've written in your resume. What were the KPIs you had? How did you do this?
