      Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. La procedura ha richiesto una settimana. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Sutherland (Mumbai) nel mese di mar 2011

      Colloquio

      I was contacted by an external consultant briefing my about how they found my resume on a job site, and would like to forward it. The consultant was professional (which is rare, trust me!) and sent me the job description within 15 minutes, to which I responded. Later, after a couple of days, the company HR called me to fix date/time for the telephonic interview. I confirmed, and set my schedule for the same. On the prescribed day, no one called. After 45 minutes of the decided time, I called them to check about the reason. The HR said there was rescheduling and gave me date of couple of days later for the telephonic interview. A senior manager called me on the fixed time this time. She sounded thorough, professional, but somehow disinterested in conducting the interview. She asked me my current profile in detail along with reasons to quit. I described in detail and asked for a detailed profile. She explained the role, and the description matched the kind of profile I was looking for. Then, I was given a case study (on the phone!) to solve and asked how best I would approach it. I explained the general approach for it. She questioned me about some of the things I said, and I answered the questions as best as I could. (here again, she sounded like she was not really interested in conducting the interview) I was asked at the end about some software/tools I use, to which I responded positively. She said I will here from them in 3-4 days. Again, they never contacted me (I guess they were in the process of finding other options, so was I) After around 40 days (!!!), the HR contacted me saying there would be one final telephonic round. I agreed, and some other Sr. manager again called me. This time, the person sounded genuinely interested. He was thorough and patiently listened to what I had to say. They only checked some of the concepts. There was no case analysis this time. In 2 days, I got a call from the HR representative, and they offered me the position.
