For the past 4-5 months I've been applying nonstop to entry level IT positions (Help Desk, IT Support, etc.) and been invited to a handful of interviews, some where i've landed a second, only to be pulled around with the false hope of a possible offer but I've received none... Zero. Since I've been getting the same results, I've decided to submit my resume last week to a recruiter at TEKsystems and he immediately contacts me via email for a position where he believed I had a strong fit. We talked on phone, he sent me an assessment to take and then set up an onsite meeting the same day to go over my resume. Overall he was impressed with my qualifications and even more impressed with the score I got on the assessment. After all that, he asked general questions like what positions I'm looking for and my expected pay.
