I don't believe this was a real interview. I believe I was "interviewed" to check off a diversity or an external candidate quota. I met two "interviewers" separately on two subsequent days. In those 30 mins, neither asked me interview questions except why I was interested in the role, which was the first red flag. The second "interviewer" didn't even bother to turn on her camera, and only claimed it wasn't working when I mentioned I couldn't see her (if not, she wouldn't have explained). She sounded disconnected and uninterested. I was told that candidates moving forward would meet several more people, and yet a week later when I e-mailed about the role I was told the offer was extended to and accepted by someone else (interviewer #1 told me this; recruiter ghosted me). That was too quick of a turnaround time to squeeze the 3 more interviews they supposedly wanted in, if there was another candidate. They already had one picked, I'm sure, but decided to waste my time anyway. Unethical and shameful behavior.

Entry level interview was typical, and the questions were more personality related than about technical skillset. There were two rounds of interviews, and I spoke with multiple people both times.
