Applied on the company's website and contacted by recruiter the next day. Phone screen with her and then invited to interview on-site with three interviewers. The recruiter was really nice and professional. I had a pleasant experience with her over the phone and in-person. She made sure to greet me upon my arrival and helped me feel comfortable. The same feeling cannot be said about the interviewers. The hiring manager felt fake and did not seem to care about the interview. She came in, introduced herself and shook my hand. But then quickly rushed through the interview without making much eye contact. At the end, she shook my hand and left without asking me if I had any questions. The next interviewer was a subordinate of hers. She did not ask me any questions but, literally, spoke the entire time about how she got to her role and what was expected of the role I applied to. The next interviewer was a partner of the team. She was a better interviewer than the previous two, but she still was not engaging and did not seem knowledgeable about the profession. Needless to say, I was not excited for this opportunity after the interviews. I was ready to withdraw my application when I got home.
