There are 4 Steps in the whole recruiting process. They really help you out and want you to succeed. The process explained very well and the assessment attached were all pretty simple easy questions. There are 40 questions and you have 45 minutes to finish. 1. Phone Interview 2. Assessment 3. Skype Interview 4. In person interview

I was referred through an employee already working with Ultimate Software who was able to pass on my resume to the HR recruiter. A representative then emailed me with a brief job description for the position I applied for and asked if I wanted the opportunity to have a phone interview with the date and time. I emailed back to confirm and got a call from them on the scheduled date. The phone interview process were fairly common questions that are often asked regarding your past job experiences and the skills I can bring to a new job. The interview was about 20-25 minutes and I was told at the end that I would be receiving an email within a week on whether or not they would like to proceed to the next round of interviews. A week went by and I had yet to receive any emails so I decided to follow up and sent a followup email to the HR rep. She emailed back very quickly, apologizing that she's been busy but was glad I followed up and told me they were interested in having me come in for a face-to-face interview. We were able to schedule an appointment together and she sent an email with all the information I needed to be prepared for the next round. I showed up to the Santa Ana building 15 minutes prior to my interview and was greeted warmly by the receptionist while I waited for my interview. The second interview was with two different managers, one at the Santa Ana office who I was able to meet face-to-face and one through Skype who was located in the East Coast. The second interview also lasted about 25 minutes with similar questions about my work experiences, what I knew about Ultimate Software, and what made me interested in starting a career with the company. After the interview, I was told I'd be receiving a call within a week. However, I got a call back right away while I was driving back home and was asked to complete an assessment which was emailed to me. Once I got home, I completed the assessment and responded to their email letting them know I had finished. About half an hour later, I received another call with the good news that they wanted me to come in for the last interview process, which would be a panel interview with three different people. However, she told me that after they got to know me a little better through the second interview, they felt that a different position other than the other one I applied for seemed to be a better fit for me and she gave me a good description on the role over the phone and asked if I would be interested. I gladly agreed and was able to schedule the last interview right away over the phone. The last interview was at the same building as my second and I met with two different interviewers than the ones before (one had a day off). They were super easy to talk to and seemed like they just genuinely wanted to get to know you. The third interview consisted of more situational questions and how I have handled difficult situations in the past, etc. The last interview lasted about 30 minutes and I left feeling positive. My interview was scheduled for 9:30 am that day, I left the interview around 10 am, and I got a call around 3:30 pm the same day with the good news that they wanted to extend the job offer to me. I gladly accepted over the phone and discussed the next few steps. I received every information I needed through email and was never left hanging when I had questions to ask. Every employee I met during this process were very warm and encouraging throughout. I am definitely excited to start my career with everyone at Ultimate Software!
