Applied online, received a call back within a few days. Went in for an info session, they check for attendance, 5am session just to see if you'll show up. You don't ever show up for work before 7:45 once you're in the swing of things
During info session you get a tour. They send you home.
Next, call back within a few more days tops, I only waited a day, and you go in to fill out paperwork, you're hired after they run the background check and MVR. NO DRUG TEST, unless you're applying for a CDL class job, which requires federal testing in a DOT facility bc it's federally mandated.
That's it. Don't believe them when they say you'll get a call back after the season, it won't happen until late spring/early summer is the soonest that would happen. The key is to get in 30 full working days before November 1st. So start looking for openings late summer, July/August/September. If you get in after mid-September don't count on being considered a permanent employee and you will be laid off Dec. 31 regardless of job performance.

Started out with some online videos about how difficult the work is. Then after being asked several times if I still wanted to continue the process, I was offered an opportunity to schedule a driving test. I scheduled a test, completed the test with a UPS manager who gave me ample opportunity to practice on the UPS lot before heading out onto the street. The interview process was limited other than some questions about driving experience prior to the drive the questions were limited. However, after being told that I had passed the driving test and that my test results would be submitted the same day, things got weird. I recieved a phone call the following morning around 8 AM stating that I was scheduled for a driving test that morning prior to the phone call and that I had not shown up. Then I contacted the employment line and they said that my driving test results were not submitted. UPS has invented a simple way to discriminate against anyone and everyone simply by lying, engaging in deceptive business practices (internally rescheduling a driving test appointment that was already completed) and then claiming that you have not shown up at the rescheduled time.

What do you know about UPS besides "we deliver packages."

Briefly touched on work prior experience, interview mainly consisting of a test drive, followed by UPS driver course. Online portion lasted for a week, followed by an in-person week long course. Concluded with a week of ride-alongs before becoming a full time driver.
Horrible hiring practice, training done online and when I got to the driving test that they called me to schedule, no one there had any idea I was coming and I didn’t even end up being able to do it .
