First you talk to a recruiter, who will sent you to your local MEPS facility, there they will interview you with medical, security, etc. after you are accepted and go to boot camp, you will again be interview by a special operations representative for compatibility with your respective community.

Upon completion of my contract in the fleet Navy, I was interviewed by Master Divers at SWRMC. I was questioned about why I wanted to be a diver and what made me think that I was a good candidate.
