Sollicatie voor het Strategic Finance Development Program
Al het contact ging via email met HR. Duidelijk proces en goede vragen. Proces bestond uit 4 delen.
1. Gesprek met HR,
2. Gesprek met 1 medewerker van Uber over analytische vraagstukken. 3. Ontving een dataset, had 7 dagen tijd om dynamisch dashboard en presentatie te maken. Daarna presenteren aan 3 leden van het EMEA team.
4. Panel interview voor dezelfde 3 leden + head of strategic Finance EMEA
Overall, leuke interactie met het bedrijf. Hoewel ik wel tot de laatste ronde ben gekomen ben ik het helaas niet geworden. Feedback: te weinig informatie in dashboard en zaten enkele fouten in.

Name 3 metrics on how Uber would define the 'health' of a city
- tedious, multiple rounds of interviews, case study panel
- the HR (based in India) is very incompetent, probably the worst experience I have ever had to interact with someone - she could not speak coherently/it was difficult to understand her, and was not even familiar with the role requirements
- the rest of the team seemed uninterested, reading out questions, everyone gave the impression of being overworked and have "better" stuff to do.

tell me about yourself, manage conflict, stakeholder relationships
One recruiter interview (very friendly and informative) and a second interview with mini case questions. Questions of the 2nd interview round were more product than finance driven and recruiters expected precise answers in Uber jargon. Also, people who interviewed me were not very friendly and seemed like they did not want to be here.

Colloquio
Very long, and not necessary. 6 interviews including a case. The case was my 4th interview and the reason why I wasn’t hired. Wish I didn’t have to take the additional 2 interviews as they were a complete waste of time.
Feedback on the case was shallow and inaccurate. They said I didn’t cover the assignment topics, when I strongly believe I did. Also feedback came from HR, not the people who actually interviewed you.
