Interview was done at a local coffee shop since it was a new store opening. Very laid back interview. felt like more of a personality interview rather then strict questions where they were looking for specific generic answers. Talk a lot about the pros and cons of my previous job and how Ulta does things their way.
I first interviewed with the District Manager then the Store Manager. Once I was offered a position, I completed a drug test and background check. The process took about 1 week.

Colloquio
Received a phone call from the Area Manager to set up face to face interview the next day. Interview was about 45 minutes discussing my background ("tell me about yourself"). Casual, friendly/warm and relaxing interview, but still professional. Clear direction of the interview details, as well as follow up and when I'd hear for the next step in interview process (2nd interview), and when they'd make a decision.

Typical management questions asking for a time when I had to lead a challenging task and what was the outcome?
Easy, 3 interview process. Basic management interview questions. All about customer service and associate deleopment. Marketing knowledge is great as well. It's a very fast paced environment and knowledge of the products will help you too.
