Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso VIPKid nel mese di set 2019
Colloquio
Long. And unfruitful. At every turn they seemed to reject me based off of not being fake energetic enough, I had one legit tell me that I did good but that she saw I had only done the interview once before and that she knew I needed to do it more time to “get more proficient” it’s an unpaid waste of time.
Now, don’t. The Chinese government has decided VIPkid has too much money.

Demo Lesson: Choose between two options:
Smart Demo: A 5-minute recorded lesson (can be retaken) with a provided slide 319.
Live Demo: A 30-minute video call with a recruiter acting as a student, offering real-time feedback 320.

Training & Certification: Complete mandatory TESOL/TEFL training (if not already certified) 314.
Simple and straightforward. They give you all the demo material, which ends up being your PowerPoint slide. They look for a few simple markers to evaluate the teaching style, and the rest is pretty straightforward.
I interviewed with VIPKid back in the golden days, of showing an initial mock interview, followed by an offer, and then doing a lesson with the mock teacher/ Mentor. It was pass or fail. Today, it's a bit different. You apply, give your mock interview to the company and your pay rate is based on a tier system of total classes taught.
