Applied online. Got a call back a day later for a group interview the day after that. There were about eight people total, myself included. Questions were pretty routine, but the amount of people who they were interviewing at once was ridiculous. Some people didn't get a chance to speak at all, some questions just lead to everyone giving the same answers repeatedly because they were such standard questions, etc. They really tried to push the idea of more casual and human customer service being their priority, so keep that in mind.
The interview was only about thirty minutes long, it felt like they were sort of in a rush to get it over with. We were told to give them a call later that week. I called them back on Friday and was told that their HR manager was not going to be there until the weekend, but also to not call on the weekend because it's busy, and to try on Monday or Tuesday. I called them back again on Monday or Tuesday, and was told that the HR manager still wasn't there and to try again in a few hours. I then tried again in a few hours and was told I didn't get the job. Apparently they had two more large group interviews in the days after mine, so this one store went through roughly 30 people to hire, I assume, about 1/10 of that number. In addition to how absolutely excessive that seems for part time sales workers, I felt like our group really got shafted by how rushed our interview was. Like, we were straight-up forced out of the room at the end because they needed to open the store. It was a ridiculous and poorly run process that left me upset with the amount of time I had wasted.
