Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Vidoori (Silver Spring Station, MD) nel mese di mar 2025
Colloquio
I recently interviewed with this company and had a deeply disappointing experience across both rounds of interviews.
First Round (Virtual):
None of the interviewers had their cameras on throughout the 45-60 minute interview
Started by awkwardly asking if I had questions instead of introducing themselves or the role
Focused solely on technical "gotcha" questions through chat and asked me to complete coding challenges without context
The job description was extremely vague, mentioning Figma and "fullstack work" with random state libraries
Second Round (In-Person):
Provided minimal instructions for arrival (only "park in garage to the left")
No reception area or front desk - just a doorbell with no answer
Had to enter when someone randomly exited the building
No one offered assistance when I explained I was there for an interview
My scheduled interviewer didn't come in person as planned and only joined virtually
The interviewer didn't turn on their camera during the meeting (apparently no one at this company ever uses video on calls)
I was left sitting alone in a conference room with minimal explanation or apology
Office Environment:
Shared bathroom keys on lanyards that employees must check out
Silent, tense atmosphere with no employee interaction or collaboration
CEO walking around in a baseball jersey seemingly monitoring employees
They boasted about an arcade machine that clearly no one used
Website mentions amenities and locations that don't actually exist
After driving to their office for an in-person interview that was changed to virtual without prior notice, I would strongly caution other candidates about this company. The disconnect between how they present themselves online versus reality, combined with their unprofessional interview process, suggests deeper organizational issues. Save yourself the time and frustration.
