      Colloquio per Telephony Software Engineer

      Colloquio

My interviewer (I presume he is the owner of the company) is an extremely rude man. Don't waste your time interviewing here because, should you get the job, he would be toxic to your mental health. ---- Mr. Jamieson was very professional and friendly on the phone when he informed me that VOCAL was interested in interviewing me. At the interview, Mr. Jamieson and the man I assume owns the company walked in the door together. Mr. Jamieson introduced himself and we shook hands. I tried to shake the owner's hand and introduce myself, but he said "no" and sat down at the table. I expected he would tell me his name, but he did not. For the next twenty minutes, he picked apart my undergraduate transcript. He told me the school I went to for undergrad was not "good" because it was a liberal arts school, despite the fact that I will soon have a MS in my field from the University at Buffalo. I was never asked about my professional experience at my last job, where I worked for five years. I wasn't asked about my courses or experience in graduate school. I was never asked specific technical questions. The only thing we talked about was what I did in undergrad and why I left a PhD program at another institution. I was told that the way I presented my past experience was "disrespectful" to my interviewers, but it was nothing of the sort. I did not try to hide anything, but I was treated as if I were a liar and as if I were dodging questions.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

How many lines of code did you write for that project? He didn't seem to care what the project was or what it did, only the LOC that I contributed. Bizarre.
