Thank you for your feedback on our intern interview process. We make every effort to be flexible when it comes to the interview process for intern positions knowing that students generally have a full course load of classes and often commitments with other jobs. Sometimes our hiring schedule does not always align with every potential candidate’s schedule.
We hire interns for several different departments throughout the year and receive generally 50-75 applicants per position. Throughout this process, every effort is made to identify the most qualified applicants and funnel them through our interview process. We also attempt to identify the best candidates as quickly as possible so we can offer the internship and they can start to contribute to the team.
Also, as a best practice and part of our process, in-person interviews are conducted before any indication is given that a job offer may be presented or before a formal job offer is made.
