Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Wise (Londra, Inghilterra)
Colloquio
I read some negative comments for the interview process before aplying for a job in TransferWise. However I didn't expect it to be all true.
I've been contacted by someone from what it felt like an automated system with some possible dates and time for a phone interview. I've accepted one of the dates. However on the next day I've been told that apparently this slot is no longer available so I had to pick a different one. I've picked the earliest suggested date which was in a week time. I've immediately received an automated confirmation email mentioning the name of the interviewer, no title, no details on his role in the company just a name. When I've googled the name, it didnt even appear as one of their employees but as someone working for another company. Really confusing. Just when I thought that finally everything's been set up, two days later I've received another email requesting me to pick different slot as the interviewer could no longer make it. I again picked the earliest available which was in another 3-4 days. On the day before the interview, they emailed me to cancel as apparently they found someone for the role. Such a waste of time, I couldn't believe it. I am so disappointed.
Did a first round, was quite impressed with their system and processes, it was interesting to learn about the company in detailed and they are a budding fintech, seems like a fun environment .

Domanda 1
introduction and background, experience in handling management
- Too many interview stages
- Disconnected questions
- Take candidates for granted - 5 interviews with feedback as unsuitable for role based on experience. Waste of candidates' time
- Referred for another vacancy where recruiter didn't turn up and then reported back saying I was absent

Random questions, like what currency would you report sales in for Wise?
Was directly contacted by the recruiter and asked to join a call with the manager. The manager arrived and just said:" let me tell you about our company and then you can tell me about yourself". No greetings, no interest in the candidate. I felt he had come with a decision in his mind already! I never felt he was interested in knowing my background as a team member. I will not work for someone like this.
