      Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 2 mesi. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Workiva (Amsterdam) nel mese di giu 2019

      Colloquio

      After recruiter reaching out to me we agreed to have a conversation on the role. She was very transparent and I enjoyed the information I was provided. Second stage was meeting with my potential manager, who turned out to be experienced in the field I was being recruited for. Again, great energetic person, I feel like we connected well and she was very transparent in what she is looking for. Meeting my extended team overseas also went smooth and by then I have spoken to 5 people already, each having about 30 minutes with me, on different occasions. After having this stage successfully completed I was invited to give a presentation to a panel in Amsterdam. I feel like only part of the panel was prepared for my interview. One of the stakeholders kept on checking his mail during the interview, and clearly disliked being challenged, which was a first red flag for me. 2 other people - The other two participants were attentive and asked more or less relevant questions. I am not sure if they knew by that time what person they are looking for. After 2 weeks I was asked if I can wait another 2 weeks for an answer, because they want to give all candidates a fair chance. This wasn't a problem, until it actually took 6 weeks to give me an answer. There was minor communication in between, but the reason for rejection was meek. For such a long wait, feedback was not specific and didn't leave me with an opportunity to reflect and improve myself. I believe recruited did her best to piece it together, from what she received from the panel. My impression is they want to grow, but don't want to be challenged too much. Anyways, my negative review comes from the fact that if you know you need to be unanimous then don't wait 2 months to tell me you were not unanimous.
