The interview process was pretty typical- phone screening, video interview, and then an in-person interview. However, there were two weird things: 1) The job title didn't match the description. In fact, they even told me the job title wasn't entirely accurate. 2) There was an in-person test portion that was pretty bizarre. They asked me to handwrite an article for them on pen and paper. I don't think that's a great way to gauge someone's writing and research abilities, because nobody actually writes that way for work-related tasks... Not sure why the test wasn't just online, which is more aligned with what the role would've been. I was rejected for the role, but the rejection was extremely short and generic. I've had more detailed responses from companies where I've exerted far less effort. After multiple interviews and a handwritten test, what essentially boils down to an automated rejection is kind of rough.
